Once located we will be looking for an icon next to the name. Go ahead and look through the different Categories until you find your External Device. Now that you are in the device manager we can see lots of info about our system and it's all broken down into categories. If you are on Win 7 / XP then after right clicking Computer and Selecting Manage, you will need to navigate to "Device Manager" on the left hand side of the new window that pops on when you clicked Manage. If however you are on Windows 7 or even Win XP still, you can access it by right clicking on "My Computer" or "Computer" and selecting, "Manage".
